Chesham-based independent training provider, All Spring Media (ASM), is delighted to have been announced as a Buckinghamshire Business First Awards finalist for Apprentice and Young Person Employer of the Year. The award celebrates companies who are consistently committed to training a young workforce and incorporating a training culture in the company for young people.

Since its launch in 2011, All Spring Media has supported over 500 young people to kickstart their careers through traineeships and apprenticeships in some of the top film and TV companies. All Spring Media celebrates a qualification rate of 93.7%, higher than the national average of 58%. Although All Spring Media’s apprenticeship programmes attract many young people who are often at the start of their careers, the organisation also supports the existing workforce. Through training the apprentices in highly valued industry-level skills, the apprenticeship programmes are exceeding their goals by increasing the number of upskilled people in the media industry.

Martina Porter, Managing Director of All Spring Media, states “My team and I are delighted to be announced as a finalist for the Apprentice and Young Person Employer of the Year Award.” Martina continues “Apprenticeships are an excellent way to help young people gain qualifications and invaluable work experience. As well as being an apprenticeship provider, we also recruit apprentices internally, so know first-hand the benefits of apprenticeships to our business from a commercial and productivity perspective.

The Awards are hosted by Buckinghamshire Business First (BBF), and they provide local businesses with the opportunity to display innovation and leadership in their sector.

The BBF states: “Each winner and finalist embodies the spirit of entrepreneurship that makes Buckinghamshire renowned for success. Together, they all show that nobody does business like Buckinghamshire.”

The winners of the award will be announced at the Awards Ceremony in September 2022.
